>>15382>and I feel like the constitution is flawed
It was the constitution that granted us individual freedoms, which made this country a great place to live to begin with. Some freedoms which you take for granted. But our constitution has pretty much been gutted today, thanks to the federal government and its increasing bureaucracy.>I think the state would rather have us weak because that way, we're easier to control. Why do you think majority of the food in that country is garbage? Because it's cheaper? If the state really cared about its people's well-being, it would focus on something other than selling cheap pig-slop designed for humans solely for profit.
This is true. Absolutely. That's why I don't trust the State to do the right thing. Why would you want to expand their powers to detain anyone they want? I came up with a simple solution: let the people defend themselves! Get rid of ALL those "gun-free zones" and allow good individuals to be armed. This includes all those teachers in the schools, armed teachers could have prevented a lot of those school shootings including the recent one. Remember: the gun-free zones don't work! Criminals will kill when they want to, with or without guns!
We need to be more vigilant, we need to encourage and promote self-defense, we need more neighborhood watches, and I suggest when the FBI actually does detect a psycho they should get off their lazy asses and do something about it (*cough*, recent shooter!, *cough*)
If they have evidence
someone is armed and dangerous, threatening to kill others I have no problem with State intervention. Otherwise, the State needs to be promoting and teaching our citizens how to defend themselves. Not that they will, just that they should.
