The two theories are: Russia is not really fighting for Syrians but just going after their own interests (Pipeline? Trade routes?) and that happens to include "aiding" a non-zionist country, or their presence might even be just a play to show that there is a global power supporting Iran but in reality they are both fighting against Assad.
The second theory is that Iran is in fact subverted alongside Iran allies (Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Palestine, Yemen rebels) and the whole them vs. the world narrative is just a spectacle and they are all Russian puppets, which is the total blackpill narrative and might as well be possible. It makes sense from the point that it's hard to understand why they're fighting vs. the world at all, they're doomed to lose anyway, what can Iran do against all global nuclear powers?
