For me it wasnt about the saving the platform or even reforming it
As far as i suspect he just made yet another purchase as he did with tesla and now yet again enjoys "building" what is already build and works as same as was with tesla company
Or just wants again attention since he fell by that time again from spotlight or on platform was made some pressure release valve considering its userbase and their willingness to do what they did do and want to do and people wanted already to do something about it already since it went too far


But on different end of rope who even finds that cancer of social media enjoyable with its limitations and confusing design compared to imageboards
