Think about what you are trying to accomplish
-change a mind?
-encourage a thought/question?
-invite discussion?
-provide information others wouldn't know?
-rally the base?
-plant a seed?

It's fun to smack liberals on their nose but does that really help? If someone insults you, does it spur you to think about their point of view and consider it honestly? No of course not.

-Choose your memes carefully, (rally base? plant a seed? inform?)
-Choose your targets as well,
-RT others, join their circle,
-Plant seeds politely
