All those things Americans added made Sonic’s world ugly. To me, Sonic 1, CD, OVA are the most important whether they were good or not. Because a lot of the American Sonic content is pure BS that doesn’t fit within the scope set by the games. It was just to make money off children. Maybe that’s why it wasn’t perceived as well there.
