<Sure, they were more than just "protests", but that's besides the point. The Abrahamists are infighting, and it weakens all of them. Islam, Judaism, and Christianity are weakened by this event.

This specific conflict has nothing to do with Islam.

Sausi Arabia and Mauritania are just as steict, in fact more strict, than Iran. Just look at Saudi Arabia for goodness sakes!

But yet they leave them alone, and instead pick on Iran, which actually grants more freedom to their women and it is a parliamentary democracy, not an absolute monarchy like Saudi Arabia.

In my strong opinion it's Saudi Arabia that needs to be attacked, not Iran. The centre of Islam is in Saudi Arabia anyway, not Iran - another reason that gives away why this conflict has nothing to do with Islam.
