>>122748NTA but it's notoriously almost impossible to successfully prosecute someone for sexual assault even with proof. Most cases don't even make it to court, and of the ones that do, like 90% are dismissed because it's extremely difficult to have enough legally dependable evidence that sex not only occured but was coerced. So if another crime is involved, it's advisable to prosecute for that one specifically instead if all you're pursuing is a restraining order. For the record, it's also extremely difficult to get a restraining order to last longer than a month. If someone gets a restraining order for longer than a month, there's a 99% chance they're actually insane and unsafe to be around.
