The bourgeoisie was able to overthrow the feudal order because of the change in how resources were allocated following the industrial revolution. Rather than military intelligence being the most important as was the case in feudal times, it was now the merchant/innovator that the most valuable member of society and so the competition was altered. The Communists see this as the result of the inevitable progression of time in which all all hierarchies will be overthrown and the masses will rule. The rules have never changed, those with the highest intelligence rise to the top, it is only the ways of competition that has changed, from warfare to markets. Socialism is not inevitable and true socialism has been tried and has always failed (Socialism is anti-Darwinism which is the primary factor that led to bourgeoisie becoming greater than feudal lords to begin with). The feudal system, had it not been overthrown, would have adapted to the new realities, so it wasn't inevitable that traditionalism would be undone, a certain race of peoples whom did not care for European interests wanted power above the kings. Of course the Jews maintained tradition all throughout, liberalization was only for the Goyim.
