Workers compete with other Workers for jobs, which can be used against them to keep wages low. On the other hand, businesses compete with other businesses for workers, which can be used by the Workers as a means to get better wages. Unions are a way for Workers to reduce their supply so as to force businesses to increase wages. All of this is perfectly viable in a free market economy, Union Busting is Socialist. Socialism does not mean worker-centric, Capitalism does not mean-business centric. Socialism is Central Planning, Capitalism is Free Market. I believe that many Socialists perceive hierarchy as a form of oppression, as in the fact that Workers are not CEOs is oppressive, which leads many Working Class individuals to the belief that a command economy would be in their favor, but they cannot play any tricks with the State, nor can they ever elevate themselves.
