Unions and Corporations largely serve the same function but from a worker and business perspective. Businesses are also partaking in the same Darwinian competition amongst one another, much as the individual workers. In most of the "Capitalist" world however, Capitalism is only for the individual, not the business. As Corporate Socialism is the norm, as well as anti-Union efforts from the government, with no anti-Corporate efforts. This is not "Free Market". Either way, a Command Economy has never been proven to provide a higher standard of living for the Working Class, as their overall wealth is always going to be tied to the size of the economy, which under Communism can not grow to any significant extent. However, in the end, both Capitalist and Communist States place all human value, and happiness upon Material wealth.
