Drones are a relatively new technology that has been quite disruptive. Countering them should be relatively easy and I'm surprised that no major power has developed anything to counter them yet. I'd predict something along the lines of, small drones equipped with a small explosive, that can be mass produced quite easily and released in large numbers to hunt down other drones, perhaps utilizing AI. Drone on Drone warfare is the future.
