the only very questionable thing i can think of sturdymin doing (he later forbid all set talk and even called out kosaki in a post) is when he made a dedicated 18+ set talk thread in early 2025 i think, because of losetron leaks, which were posted on sturdy after a buyer leaked them because loser stop talking to him, this set thread was later hidden and deleted, but admin encouraged them to move the thread talk to element, and he mentioned that he himself might join it anonymously, this element thread was for people who were confirmed set buyers, and the mission of it was to crowd fund money to buy sets, so they kicked out any people who were freeloaders, this element thing later became inactive and from what i was told people recruited to their under telegram 18 buying groups from the element group, one such person was gorilla or whatever his name was (who ran a underage cosplayer grooming/buying ring until he quit afaik)
rando grooming sico has little to do with sturdy as an imageboard, but with the r4 fuckery going on behind the scenes, but its true that r4 stuff became very prominent in the later days of sturdy, where a non negligible part of posts were made by r4 people, example being kayniggers constantly talking about kay, which lead to people who were not in r4 groups to become disinterested in ttg and thus sturdy, i would say that 40-60% of posts in the last 3 months of sturdy, mostly because of sico, were done by people who were active in r4 ttg adjacent places (you can imagine something like a guy, who was breaking r2 and r4, making 300 posts about sico etc. per thread), but people breaking r2 + r4 was always a thing, ever since bbg (example being lime aka royalpurple who is a namefag relic of wsg ttg and bbg made a cosplayer quit after he harassed her and was a kay and sico discordnigger, his ban is the final straw which made sico deleted all media posts on sturdy) even the whole visitors arc (a lot of different tokkers posting on sturdy), which lasted for a few months until the death of sturdy, was directly caused by r4 stuff, example being iso and ramdisker and foxcel and maxine r4 group
but after sturdy, ttg places like schan, easychan, truechan, noschizos, beanchan or even clockchan, are 100% run and used exclusively by r2 + r4 people, mostly because most non-r4 people realized that everybody but them is a r4 fag, thats why the activity went from 8 - 16 2000 post threads on sturdy to now 50+ hour threads on noschizos, where the majority of posts are made by less than 5 people (funny thing is that noschizos has 2 mods + 1 admin, who are all r4 discordniggers)
