Look, the reality is you're going to get a lot of creeps in these communities given the subject matter, and people can easily hide their true intentions for a long time. Sooner or later though their true colors show themselves, and you just have to cut them off when that happens. That's the risk you take participating in these communities. There ARE decent people around though, and you CAN form good friendships with them.
