Not really, there was text board and Tor board simultaneously. Session was made a priority as a working alternative to the board which was slow and posting/loading files was a pain. I remember posting to the Tor board converting vids to 480p under 1MB because connection was so poor.

Today Catchan remains the Onion board with the weirdest connection issues unlike any other site. Wonder what that means. Maybe it was all staged to give a reason for Session.
