I like her for adopting a persona that was very self-aware and borderline satirical, and making massive amounts of money that she then spent on even more self-absorbed pursuits.

Despite taking the drugs thing too far, she really is an exceptional 21st century female character, and I think people should appreciate the subtleties of how Ciara captures the spirit of our generation.
