This post is silly, samefagging medfag here. More people have HPV than herpes. Around 90% of people have HPV, if not more (most people avoid regular testing). Men are the main carriers and transmitters of it. HPV is a non-issue compared to herpes because HPV, in 99% of cases, produces no symptoms whatsoever. Herpes gives you genital warts and sores on your mouth. Almost everyone has HPV, but few people are getting cancer from it, and if they are, they're almost always women because the cervix is sensitive to it. Treating HPV like it's more severe and serious is not rooted in reality. You will not catch HPV from a handshake or a doorknob, but anything from kissing to heavy petting can transmit it, without PIV sex or oral sex. The same goes for herpes.
