I don’t want to be thought of as a simp. Being a simp is problematic because there is inherent inequity at the outset by definition, as you are placing her above you, on a pedestal, and thus there is already a power imbalance and you cannot be seen , or treated by her, as an equal.

What I’d like is to be a true friend with no ulterior motives.
