The post is presented as an analysis of the perfume in the title, yet she keeps jumping from one disjointed topic to the other, from Oscar Wilde to all saints' day in France, Ophelia and a million other non sequiturs
united by nothing other than the insubstantial theme of chrysanthemum, which is just one of the ingredients of the perfume. All her cultural references are not cohesive and don't contribute to a deeper understanding of the perfume (or any other topic she presents), they're just aesthetic fluff.
All I understood from that post is that she has a vast culture, she reads a lot about all kinds of topics but her studies lead her nowhere, she derives no insight from them.
