I haven't witnessed any ghosts personally, although I've seen shadowy figures move in the corner of my eye but assumed it was just my imagination. Other than that, I haven't heard voices or seen objects fallen on their own. I've had plenty of experiences with sleep paralysis which made me believe my house was haunted until I did more research and realized it was just a sleeping disorder. I rarely get them now since I sleep on my side or stomach, it's only when I sleep on my back that makes the "old hag" appear in my room.
Scariest moment was when I was having a nap mid afternoon in my room and I "woke up" paralyzed and feeling great dread since I felt something in the room with me. I kept my eyes closed hoping to fall back asleep until I heard something from the end of my bed say my name and suddenly pounce on top of me and starting breathing very heavily down my neck. My body felt like it weighed a thousand pounds and it took me a great amount of effort to simply roll over. I eventually drifted back to sleep and when I actually woke up everything felt fine again. Now whenever I get the odd sleep paralysis, I just ignore it and keep sleeping. It's the same with nightmares, the more afraid you are the worse it's gonna get.
I would like to get a group of people together for some urban exploration, or trespassing if you will, at some of the abandoned factories, hospitals or anywhere that's potentially "haunted". But that can require lots of planning and preparation in order to be safe since you're dealing with asbestos, homeless people, syringes, mobile patrol units, etc. which is what turns most people off about the whole idea.
