I watched Licence to Kill (1989) The second and final Timothy Dalton one. They went for a more dark and gritty approach here. In some ways it was necessary after the cartoonish end to the roger Moore era, but it still didn't quite work. I liked Dalton as Bond, but his films weren't great. He kicked M in the stomach. The real James Bond would never have done that. Pierce Brosnan era next.
