>A few moments later, the sales clerk returns carrying a tray of gleaming diamonds. He sets the tray down gently on the counter in front of you. "If you'd care to take a look at these," he says softly. >You look down at the dazzling array of diamonds. They all look the same to you except for one. One of the diamonds casts a blue-white light that seems to signal to you. You can't take your eyes off it. 'Til take that one," you say, your voice trembling. >"Oh, no! Not that one!" the sales clerk cries "Please don't buy that one. That diamond has a curse on it!" >"Ha ha! A curse?!" you exclaim. "Come on don't be so corny!" >"This is an ancient diamond that just happens to come with an ancient curse," — the clerk insists, holding onto the counter- top tightly. "I'd really advise you not to buy this one." >You stare down at the beautiful jewel. >You feel drawn to it, pulled into it, hypnotized by it. >You must decide. Will you buy it despite the curse? >Or will you decide not to take the chance in case a curse really exists and buy something else?
