When did adventure fiction become pozzed? It feels like it increasingly became a problem after 1970, but a lot of fiction written by guys before ww2, or who grew up before ww2, like fleming, is a lot better, with no apologetic cringe for colonialism or sexism or anything. I need to read robinson crusoe sometime. Early 18th century. Back in the days when europeans were proud to be better than everyone else.
