I can't find it among the slop, but there was someone on Youtube about 15-18 years ago who ran (UK) Pokie Machine firmware in an emulator, took snapshots of the system, and then compared what happened after adding a 5p or 10p coin. The RNG was definitely salted by the amount put in.
