Yep. For this particular job I've just asked that they confirm there is no short or floating neutral on the light circuit and they replace the switch and light in the kitchen. The other job is removing some ceiling fan cabling, so that is actually taking load/cable out of the house which is an improvement.
I did ask them last time for a quote and time when they could rewire the house and they never got back to me, so that's on them.
