To get DSP you need to have a condition or several conditions that add up to 20 or more points on their scale and those condition(s) need to have been diagnosed, treated and stablised for at least 2 years to qualify. You can start the dsp application process at any time and if you get it you grt backpaid for it all the way back to when you first started the claim.
