"Normally" this gay pride thingy consists mostly gays from all over Europe. There is some politics in it, right radicals doing some anti-demonstration couple streets away and then go to scream at the fags, some minor liberal party holds some anti-anti-demonstration, and then go scream at the fascists.
This year is daily politics drama the whole thing it is. Something like the govt did not want to allow it this year, but the opposition held local govt of Budapest went on that they'll hold it, then it was Brussels and whatever nonsense. It is not worth to follow the events.
