I did dm-crypt my laptop running arch. I have a 20 random letter password that is different to my long random letter password for my password manager. Its better than nothing when the ZOG kicks in your door. I probably need a unencrypted NAS for all my soppy poetry and books on gardening but for my illegal data I want that on a local crypt. Maybe with a backup under a rotting log deep in the bush. I guess the fear is that the ZOG will get into my crypt and plant CP there. they can plant CP on my unecrypted hdd but they will have to explain why i have and uncrackable crypt and CP sitting in the open. Encryption is just a hobby at the moment. I purged all my terrorist manuals when Sewell said not to own a copy even on your chache.
