The bird of Hungarians is the Turul it's a totemistic ancestor, next to deer which is a type of falcon (Falco cherrug) which is a common bird on the Eurasian steppes. For some reason predatory birds found their way to Ukrainian CoA, and then a version of them started to turn into falcons - as AFU military units started to twist 'em.
There is one officer, perhaps colonel or general of the AFU who is called Magyar (I think its a nickname), and he is the commander of a drone unit. So the Birds of Magyar is actually the drones of this commander. Naturally they picked a falcon as their units insignia.
