For example I can't recall they explained what was the goal of the "aunt".
She said something she'd hoped his parents would cure her, but more like she was bullshitting the kid and was just sucking everyone life force or something with no end.
But why she didn't do the same with the kid? She needed a pawn to get all the kids in the basement but after she had little use of him.
