Even armed with IP addresses, LE would require corroborating evidence of each of the posts from his computer. A simple browser cache wipe and zeroing out free disk space would negate that.
Endchan uses SSL by default, so there is no magic his ISP or ASIO could do to see POST data, short of having pre-compromised his computer beforehand.
