Well it is expandable, since there are USB ports and GPIO pins. Also I have a HDD connected to the SATA port, and only use the microSD for my boot partition. Well I also have all the OS files mirrored on there as a backup measure (in case the HDD dies).
There's 2 GB memory, and that's more than enough. Half of it is allocated to a RAM disk even. And I can watch videos just fine, even without the GPU driver (I don't load it because it's a non-free blob).
