It's like if you give enough acceptance for AIDS or other venereal diseases, the masses sort of sell it to others by virtue signaling, but really people are disgusted by it. So if psychiatrists are swayed by a change in the DSM and they choose to uphold erroneous concepts, they'll be weeded out by the natural process of the ever-changing DSM. They lose credibility, but the people at the top just change.
