well
if you pull the joystick back the bird's nose goes up and it will climb
when pushing the joy forward the nose goes down and the bird sinks
the more one pulls or pushes the angle of the plane will diverge from horizontal
and between the two the joystick has the resting position when the plane will level
with the mouse there is no resting position
you pull it back and stop pulling the plane won't level back but will rise further until you push the mouse forward
but if you push it too much the bird will nod down
so had to be very precise about the strength of movement, otherwise the jet starts to nod all over violently and nothing can be accomplished
tweaking the mouse to be less sensitive does not help, because there are times when need to act quick, dogfights demand quick and sharp turns, and can't roll the mouse for half an hour to make that turn
it's kinda hard and needs lotsa practice
