No, big wigs like Elon Musk and Donald Trump come from the old guard of traditional capitalist Americana, the days America thrived and prospered enormously. The problem is, like most other hard working Americans, they see the writing on the wall and notice the internal threats we have in this nation who have extremely radical self-serving and destructive policies: both failed foreign and domestic policy. They understand this nation is in danger of being usurped and destroyed from within by hostile actors and extremely selfish, if not treacherous, special interests on a global scale. These same corrupt special interests would be more than willing to kill others who wish to curb their influence and power over the country. So there is very much a traditional capitalist old guard fighting off a totalitarian neo-feudalist self-serving war-mongering class. Both sides in this political conflict are wealthy, one side knows they would have never had the chance to become rich had the same level of despotism and self-serving destruction existed back 50+ years ago. So one side is fighting for the old America. The other wants America destroyed and transitioned into peasantry and totalitarian serfdom.
