Nearly all image boards have become abandoned shitholes anon, it's become a dying obsolete culture. 90% of people don't even own a PC or laptop anymore. Think of the enormous ramifications. We WILL see the old internet die in our lifetime, it is all but guaranteed. Don't like it? Best have lots of multiple offline media backups to reminisce.
