European "elites" were always arrogant and stupid thinking they could actually defeat and conquer Russia, let alone win a war with USA during WWII. Europeans always have this delusion of grandeur as if they know what is best, as if they are obligated to dictate everything under the sun to everyone else and as if they have the right to regulate everything globally and punish anyone who opposes them. That's why the Europeans keep getting their asses whooped. They did in WWI. They did in WWII. And they'll get their asses whooped in WWIII too. Europeans would be a lot better off minding their own affairs and fixing their own problems at home. As the US should have been doing the last five decades.
