i dunno i am still excited about this little device because i can finally read with this. i have not been able to do it for years. i'm reading about an hour or two every day.

with reading i don't have this empty disappointing feeling that internet videos give me, i have been increasingly unhappy with just watching youtube videos, i don't like how videos grab too much attention. when i read something, i can keep some of the attention to myself, i don't hyperfocus on details and i like how i can read slower or faster or stop without having to push buttons. also i noticed that this is beneficial for my sense of fantasy, my imagination is turning these boring looking words into worlds that are interesting to be in. i don't think i ever reached this level into reading. reading has always been forced upon me by the evil german education system.

i keep looking for books, i had so many books saved and now i bother to rename them and put them in little folders based on filetype. when my father asks me what is new i keep talking about how exciting reading is to me 🤣
