i actually bought this display and then i bought a total of 8 cables, adapters and usb-video hubs so i can connect it to everything i have. it works but it is better with an actual computer then with a phone.

either i am missing something or android (lineage os in my case) really isn't good at connecting displays. i can only mirror the display, which means i have an app that changes the phones resolution to the maximum resolution of the screen, otherwise it will only use like half the screen. also i can't turn off the phone screen all the way, otherwise the other screen will go off too. also it forces some stupid tablet mode that makes the home button tiny and stupidly unresponsive and most apps have a black bar at one side apparently because of the camera.

so lots of stupid little problems, but it works and i'm gonna use it but i am missing an actual linux. android is only good when you use it on one phone as minimally as possible. i probably end up getting a little singleboard computer with a powerbank running as close to actual linux as possible and use it with keyboard and mouse.

i have an adapter that connects hdmi+usb to the usb-c of the monitor that also transmit the touchscreen, this is probably my best option.
