Obviously you are not smart enough to realize criminalizing more than half of the nation's local farmers would instantly cause a starvation crisis and prices of all other foods to skyrocket too. Not to mention the public unrest and armed confrontation you would obviously see in countries like America. The level of your ideological extremism would create massive blowback in a country where hunting, fishing and farming has long been a cultural tradition.
