Tyranny is really just survival of the fittest at any cost or consequence to human life. It is not fair but it is sadly human nature for people to want to maintain their status of power and wealth. If you do not want tyranny you have to make a personal sacrifice to fight it. Since no one is willing to do that, willing to look in the mirror or able to say "hell no!", tyranny continues unchallenged and even accepted today.
