Most reactions here focus on explaining why a peaceful global order is impossible bases on past failures (UN, ICC, etc.). But that is exactly my point: Because past international organisations failed, we desperately need a radically new, structurally binding blueprint. "It failed before, so we shouldn't try" is defeatism. The real question we should be asking isn't "Why is it hard?", but "How do we actually make it work?"
