The USSR will not be rebuilt because it does not have to be, and far too expensive and a headache for Russia to maintain. What Russia IS trying to do is become less dependent on Europe and the US and they are doing so through BRICS and making sure NATO can't have a nuclear first strike advantage (something honestly I can't blame them for). Russia cares less what happens to the US or Europe.... as long as we do not remain a threat to their national sovereignty. If we had good leadership we could come to an understanding and lucrative peace.
