Jesus and Sophia (Divine Wisdom) are cosmic partners representing the sacred union of the masculine and feminine divine. Jesus (the Savior or Christ/Soter) is sent from the higher spiritual realm (the Pleroma) to rescue Sophia from her lower state of ignorance and reunite her as his consort.
