Oh God! (1977). A grocery store department manager, out of the blue, gets an anonymous note in the mail telling him to meet God at a specific address. When he does meet God he is told to spread God's message although not at all coherent or specific in detail. He is told by God to relay to his fellow citizens that God does exist and that the fate of the world was completely up to us, that we all have free will to live in peace or kill one another and destroy the planet, that humans have the right to make whatever collective decision we want because God granted us free will. God tells this man to sacrifice his lifestyle and career to spread the message to everyone including the use of journalism and local media broadcasting. Of-course reluctant and confused at first, God's newest disciple complies after some encouragement and proof, while causing chaos and embarrassment for his family life, risking his reputation and career, eventually leading to a big legal dispute and a court case as well.
