OK, first off Russia is not and cannot invade Europe. Hell, Ukraine is doing a fine job keeping Russia from even taking a quarter of their country, the Donbass region.

Second off, there is no more USSR that is dead and gone, never coming back, and Russia does not want that kind of headache anymore. The USSR was insolvent, unstable and kind of like us today very divided socially. It did not work well for Russia. Ask Putin he'll straight up admit that fact publicly and has many times. Russia is a lot smarter than Western paranoid Russiaphobes. It won't happen so calm down.

Third fact, it is NOT in European or American interests to go into a direct war with a nuclear and industrial superpower like China or Russia. We can't even tame Iran right now. We can't even tame the Houthis attacking the Saudis right now.

America's best interest is to bring our military home, secure our borders, reform and rebuild our military, build better nuclear weapons as well hyper-sonic missiles and better drone technology, and maintain diplomacy with Russia and China and Iran, as well Ukraine. We should be completely neutral, doesn't mean we are weak or pacifist. Our ONLY true national security should be making American life better and safer as a top priority. Not more wars or intervention, which has bankrupted us and failed us for the last 25+ years.
