My generation watched John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies when we were kids, we did not grow up with the internet. I'm an old time traditional American, I absolutely do not fit in with today's modern culture. I choose to live rural, away from populated areas. With that comes a lot of responsibility and years of having a "prepper" mindset. I still do rely on the modern economy don't get me wrong, we all need gas to commute, we all need to go to the local stores every now and then to fix our appliances, to restock groceries, to buy more booze, to cash checks, etc. My generation does not care for human sacrifice, we just want to live our lives in peace and not be blown apart by a nuclear war or have to die defending our properties from violent third world invaders. The fact we even have to worry about such bullshit proves how fucking horrible and treacherous our politics, institutions and government really is today. If that is what modern America stands for that it why it will fall.
