>Lainchan DB wipe of 2017/18
>Mewch died for some reason...
>This "Alt-chan federation" thing popping up

I believe there is a possibility of a coordinated attack against imageboards as a whole. All of these shooters coming out with their "manifestos" along with their livestreams and vocal acknowledgement of imageboards is troubling.
I cannot deny that imageboards as a genre of websites have become more politically charged over time, but for these events to occur over such a short period of time, and featuring the names of the websites as well, is in my eyes, suspicious. I'm not denying that the shootings occurred, or that people died, but it is a possibility that the shooters may be manipulated... somehow. If we are dealing with a government/coalition level thread, we can be certain the tools they are using to target us are of great power and influence. Social engineering, large website coordinations and algorithmic weights, Etc.
4chan still exists because it is a website with government oversight. /b/ is not moderated by janitors but instead by bots and law enforcement that look for keywords and images. TOR and 95% of VPNs are blocked site-wide which means any terrorist threats and CP posting has to be done either in public or from a private source, making prosecution incredibly easy. I don't condone any of those actions, but that is why 4chan still exists, and it serves A)To keep people from finding websites like this that are protecting of (most) free speech, and B)To make prosecution easier and discourage imageboard use. Google javascript is present on 4chan, and WILL track you to other websites since I have observed google scripts on about 75-80% of websites.

What are your thoughts on the matter? Should lynxchan/Endchan implement an autonomous keyword-based threat detection system?

People have the misconception that the Web was designed for only them to conduct outward searches. While maybe originally true, it is no longer the case, it is also being used to search the searchers. Someone, something is looking for specific people.

Lay off the tinfoil. Mewch died because of fuck ups and shit like that is commonplace with chans. It's an amateur activity often done by amateur admins. Shit happens.

I can understand that, but realize that many, many people and entities want imageboards and anonymity gone. Police and law enforcement because they believe everyone here is an anomalous h4x0r on steroids who loves CP, political proponents because they don't like anything that goes against their preconceived notions of society, and possibly even governments or "shadow" organizations for the investigative nature of /pol/ and some other boards, although this is unlikely and wouldn't be easily detectable. Media also typically paints imageboards as evil and destructive, so the general populace also now believes imageboards are such and should be outlawed.

if you need a thing to reference in 2016 the shadowy boogeyman front group the bildeberger group invited one of the people behind ytcombinator among other tech movers and shakers for the titular purpose of "ending anonymity online". It was in Germany. It happened. The username on chans are by default anonymous. Their sjw use of anonymous as a leftist front group much like the bildibergers but for the people our fake outlet (not real anonymous when they make maskfag videos that are against fat shaming and horseshit like that)has melded into the maskfag cancer that is a joke. So this is what is left of what was anonymous so they must get rid of it because they are trying to implement major bullshit campaigns namely climate change faggot rights to weaken the masses of people under the name of liberal freedom. To disarm us we are to be disarmed according to the elites aka secret societies. And Its deeper than that. Trey want to implement a social credit raking system. They want to depopulate a lot of people. They want to make it an incentive to self censor to completely discount even the most broadest theories. Because they want to destroy anonymity. We can say all this shit irl between people but they are trying to point out fake rules and shit to stop the conversation spreading as it does naturally in person speaking of any kind of conspiracy. People don't fight like they do online they can there are those kinds of people. But its more of a way to guide the public discourse you see.

also notice 4chan. You can not post anonymously without practically purchasing the right kind of proxy or vpn to post. Nearly all major proxy and vpn ranges are banned. Its still up. They want to destroy anonymity.

>Looks up
Well, they didn't succeed, at least not here and on some other imageboards. 4chan and 8chan did implement spying, so they were fucked. Let's hope the same doesn't occur here. I guess reddit is still psuedoanonymous since I can register and post with TOR, but I would imagine datamining and identity linkage would be significantly easier on there than on here. Can't blame facebook since it is a site literally for connecting with people you know in real life rather than a discussion board, but the other websites like tumblr, twitter, google, youtube, etc. have no excuses for collecting your data.
They probably won't end anonymity online, at least, not with a major overhaul of the current internet infrastructure which is not viable at all and would cause a massive uproar everywhere. They are attempting to end anonymity slowly and quietly, little by little.

i forget the exact details but megamilk did something with the database while something else was going on with the database and wiped it, allegedly. seeing as how that was his third image board that ended quite abruptly it's hard to tell if it's bad luck, or if he gets fed up easily or if he's just plain ole incompetent.

When a goddamned motherfucking federal agency starts running a honeypot imageboard using taxpayer money hoping for whatever easy-bust faggotry they are hoping for and then they wind up being disappointed and confused when their honeypot ends up being used by a bunch of autistic schizo artists that form a community and upload cool OC without breaking any laws, it should be illegal for those cocksucking glowie motherfucking lazy sons of bitches shitfucks to shut the community down. WE PAY YOUR SALARIES YOU SHITSTAIN COCKGOBBLERS, SO LEAVE THE FUCKING HONEYPOT THAT WE PAID FOR AND ARE USING THE FUCK UP.

At this point my observations have led me to the conclusion that the government is a self-perpetuating governmental entity, meaning that despite the terms and limits of positions such as the president and senators, assimilation results in the acquisition of the current knowledge infrastructure with minimal change over time(Think about joining the military and adopting their mindset). There are some positions within the government, such as the director of FBI, that have had people occupy them for decades. That is a bad idea.

Of course, external influence(money) is also a factor of determining governmental operation. While some people hate lobbyists, I don't since I have the money to influence em :^)I of course push good agendas, nothing that strengthens or expands the government

Anonymous 10/30/2019 (Wed) 13:43:07 [Preview] No.24504 del
I think it has to do more with the majority of positions in government aren't elected and they provide resources, knowledge, and the means to whatever elected official they are under. These unelected positions are the real clockwork of Washington and the ones to influence what everyone else says is clockwork.

> While some people hate lobbyists, I don't since I have the money to influence em :^)
>I of course push good agendas

Well at least you're doing something right. I guess

Sort of explains why we have and infinity(haha get it, 8ch reference) amount of honeypots imageboards being posted around here. Don't even click on them guys(and possible gals).

Also don't know if BOs should leave their threads here. Shit is obvious malware

>Should lynxchan/Endchan implement an autonomous keyword-based threat detection system?
I mean if it keeps retards from doing retarded things and keeps us staying afloat for years(even decades), sure.

And there's nothing else even semi-interesting in the normie net to even compete with IBs anyway. Everything is honestly so shit nowadays it's not even funny

Most people also don't like having someone looking over their shoulder while they do anything.
