Manning is still in jail for refusing to testify against Assange. Say what you will, she's got balls.

Assange may be an annoying attention whore who's intolerable to be around for very long, but never let the prosecutors get away with not talking about the war crimes and the deliberate murder of journalists by U.S. military personnel that would not have come to light if it weren't for wikileaks (which at the end of the day is just an archive site like wayback machine or any other anti-memory hole device). If they didn't want videos of shameful criminal activity to be seen by anyone then they shouldn't have made them. Going after Assange this many years later is just pathetic sour grape faggotry in action. Let's also not forget the U.S. illegal searching of planes containing foreign national leaders just because they thought Assange might be on them.

Then along comes Snowden, who shows everybody how to get it done.
