they look very beautiful but if you just keep them in a cage it would be boring. we were letting them out of the cage almost all the time even if they were shitting up the house, it made the house more wholesome with them chirping and flying around while we eat and stuff.

would recommend training birds to sit with you like bonbi its more fun than just keeping them locked up.
