In my case I actually didn't become a major fan of Bonbi until basically 2024. The whole time I've been entranced by her classic content and thinking it's some of the most wonderful things I've seen anywhere I've been aware present day Bon is an OF girl.
I guess for me it's sort of like appreciating a novel written by someone who was a horrible person IRL, you distinguish the art and the artist... But kinda different because even now I think Bonbi is a weak, self-loathing, mentally unwell person, not someone who's morally loathsome.
